Jason Aldean is hitting the road this spring as an opening act on Tim McGraw's Live Your Voice Tour, which symbolically brings his success at the national level full circle.
See Also:As it turns out, some of the songs that are a part of Tim's set list might well be songs Jason used to play as he was kicking off his own career. "When I was first playing clubs, first got out of high school and really went out on the road for the first time, Tim had just come out," Jason told the national radio show GAC Nights: Live From Nashville. "He's still one of the biggest stars we have, but at that time, he was brand new and really, really on fire. So we were playing a lot of his songs. And now the fact that we get to go out, we get to play in front of him every night on his stage and be on tour with him is just something we're all really looking forward to, kinda countin' down the days until that tour starts." The kick-off date is May 9, when Jason, Tim and Halfway To Hazard play Tampa, Fla. In the meantime, Jason's current video, "Laughed Until We Cried," is stationed at No. 13 on GAC's Top 20 Country Countdown.
