Dr. Phil is back in hot water again. An employee for the daytime talk show host posted bail for one of eight central Florida teenagers jailed for allegedly participating in a videotaped beating.
According to People.com, a spokeswoman for Phil McGraw, Terri Corigliano, said they have helped out guests and potential guests in the past when they needed financial assistance to come on the show, such as assisting with clothing allowance, lost wages, accommodations and necessitates.
"In this case, certain staff members went beyond our guidelines," Corigliano said.
McGraw, who drew heavy criticism for visiting pop star Britney Spears when she was in the hospital this year, has decided not to pursue the story.
He has "decided not to go forward with the story," Corigliano said.
