Jon Voight might not be on speaking terms with his daughter Angelina Jolie, but he still has good things to say about her and her partner Brad Pitt.

The 69-year-old actor said he is excited to hear that Jolie is pregnant again. Voight adds that he thinks Jolie and Pitt are “heroes” for raising their four children properly.

“I’m very excited, and I’m sending my love to the family. They’re getting to be a bigger family – it’s great!” Voight says. “It’s nice to see people embracing family and loving that whole process.”

“People who raise children properly are heroes to me because it takes a lot of work,” he adds. “And when they do it with joy and love, there’s nothing more beautiful.”

Jolie confirmed her pregnancy last week. She and Pitt have one biological daughter and three adopted children.
