British music mogul Simon Cowell has denied he has split from his model girlfriend Terri Seymour.

The American Idol judge was reported to have broken off his five-year romance with the 33-year-old beauty amid claims the star's heavy work load work had put a strain on the relationship.

The couple was also at the centre of rumors that Cowell's refusal to settle down and start a family had caused a rift between the pair.

But Cowell's representative Max Clifford insists their relationship is still going strong.

He says, "I've spoken to Simon about this and he and Terri are absolutely fine. They're as happy as they've always been."
