Chris Rock's mother knows a thing or two about children-she raised 10 and had 17 foster kids -- and her son just had the sheets flung off a pretty sordid affair in open court. With all that experience, she released "Mama Rock's Rules," a parenting book on how to raise your offspring.

Rose says that parents should not be friends with their kids and shouldn't spoil them with video games, which will only take away from their time together. Mama Rock puts a lot of stock in hugging it out -- she even says a lil TLC works better than penicillin. Tom Cruise concurs.
