Jennifer Hanson is preparing to release a new album this summer, and tonight she'll get a chance to talk about it as she joins host Nan Kelley on GAC's "Top 20 Country Countdown."

Jennifer took a bold step in making the album: She asked out of her deal with her former record label, then started recording the new project without a label to finance it. She ultimately found a new home for the project, which includes her latest single, the autobiographical "'73." The video will air on the countdown, and don't be surprised if they talk about a few of the songs Jennifer's had hits with the last couple years as a songwriter, including Bucky Covington's "A Different World" and The Wreckers' "Leave The Pieces."

A new countdown premieres every Friday at 8 p.m. ET on GAC and airs again Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. ET; Sundays at 1 p.m. ET; and Mondays at 10 a.m. ET.
