Jason Aldean's current "Relentless" album became his second CD to go gold, and now he's hoping the title track will bring him back to familiar territory in the Top 10.
See Also:Having signed twice previously to recording contracts that went sour, he was relentless in going after his dream, and he wound up finding success in an uncharacteristic place: on an independent label, Broken Bow Records. "Relentless" is a particularly sweet single for Jason because its message is so closely knit to his own story. "We named the second album Relentless in honor of this song and all the hard work we've put in to finally have some success," Jason says. "This is the song the fans have been singing back to us night after night out on the road, so we decided to put it out as a single in tribute to them." Jason has several TV appearances ahead in the coming week, and he's likely to sing "Relentless" on all of them: GAC's Opry Live tomorrow night; the Los Angeles show KTLA Morning News on Wednesday; and The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson Thursday. The song will also be heard this summer as appears on Tim McGraw's Live Your Voice Tour, kicking off May 9 in Tampa.
