Nicole Richie and her father Lionel Richie gushed about the newest addition to the family, 3-month-old Harlow Winter. The socialite said that motherhood is “definitely like nothing I could have imagined.”

Richie, 26, says her daughter is “beyond amazing.” Grandpa Lionel also has good things to say about his daughter and granddaughter. “She went from, ‘Dad, I don’t care. Whatever you say.’ To ‘Wash your hands, Dad’ and ‘Be quiet Dad.’ It’s a whole new sound of the house,” he said.

Harlow is the first child for Richie and her boyfriend Joel Madden.
