Los Angeles Galaxy star David Beckham was ticketed on Tuesday for a minor traffic offense. A sheriff's deputy riding a motorcycle stopped Beckham, who was driving a Cadillac Escalade along Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.

Beckham spokesman Glenn Lehrman declined to comment on why Beckham was pulled over, but told The Associated Press, "It was a minor incident, and David complied with the officer."

No one else was in the car with Beckham at the time.
