Simon Cowell says that he sometimes finds ‘American Idol’ “mind-numbingly boring.”

“It’s a reality show. If you’re bored, you’re bored. If you’re not, you’re not. I can’t help it if I’m bored. Some times its mind numbingly boring and it shows on my face,” Cowell says.

This season of American Idol doesn’t seem to be boring. There are several front runners whose performances impress judges nearly every week. Among those are David Archuleta, Michael Johns and David Cook.
