Tim McGraw

Country stars have been extremely active this week raising money and awareness for charitable causes with a benefit concert, a swanky wine-tasting, a kids' baseball initiative and an online auction all intended to help out important causes.

The ninth annual Best Cellars Dinner raised $177,000 for the T.J. Martell Foundation, according to Country Aircheck. Held Monday at the Loews Vanderbilt Plaza, the event brought out LeAnn Rimes, Martina McBride, Brooks & Dunn, Michelle Branch, Jake Owen, Vince Gill, Amy Grant and Montgomery Gentry, with one patron bidding $80,000 for a 20-person dinner with Brooks & Dunn, complete with wine from Kix Brooks' Arrington Vineyard.

Craig Morgan and Stephen Cochran played a show at the Ryman Auditorium last night to fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a neurological condition also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.

Miranda Lambert launched an online Cause for the Paws auction on eBay, according to Dial-Global, benefiting the Humane Society of East Texas. The auction includes signed items from George Strait, Alan Jackson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Martina McBride and Little Big Town.

And the Tug McGraw Foundation, which includes Honorary Chairman Tim McGraw, announced it's partnered with youth baseball programs in Delaware to solicit donations for brain tumor research.

Add up all those country stars, it's truly a team effort.
