She's definitely paying attention to the political race, but she's remaining tight-lipped about where she stands on the issues.

"I've been following it a little bit because I feel like I should as an American citizen," she told Dial-Global. "My dad's always preached to me, 'Vote, vote, vote. It's your right, and people are fighting for us to do this and dying for us to be able to vote.' So he's pounded it into my head. But I don't talk about it. I'm up there to entertain people and make them forget about all that stuff. I'm a country music artist, [but] I don't ever want to use that as a platform to force my opinion on politics on anyone."
