Toby Keith

Toby Keith has his own approach to music, but he's quite able to adapt the sound of other artists, too. He copped a Waylon Jennings groove on "Honkytonk U," and sounded a lot like Bobby Bare on "Big Blue Note."

Now his Barry White imitation is getting high-fives from Wayman Tisdale, the former NBA star who employed Toby on a remake of "Never, Never Gonna Give Ya Up."

"My mouth was wide-open," Wayman says. "I could not believe what I was hearing. Toby nails it."

Just how well does Toby cover it? Well, we'll have to wait until June 3 to find out: That's the release date for Wayman's album, Rebound.
