An aspiring Canadian rapper who stole Eminem's ex wife's cell phone and called up the Detroit rapper plead guilty to the theft in an Ontario Court today (April 8).

As reported earlier, 19-year-old Kyle Spratt of Windsor, Ontario stole Kim Mathers' phone at a Windsor bingo hall where he worked last year while she was outside smoking.

Spratt would then call Eminem on her phone asking the rapper to listen to his demo track.

Eminem would give Spratt the cold shoulder and Detroit police would contact Spratt telling him to stop harassing the rapper.

Angered by being ignored by Eminem, Spratt would record a song taking shots at the rapper titled "Slim Sellout" and posted it on his MySpace page.  The song included samples of his conversations with Eminem and the Detroit police.

Spratt would then be visited by Windsor police who told him to stop contacting Eminem.  The "Slim Sellout " song would also be removed from his MySpace page.

According to The Windsor Star, Spratt plead guilty to the theft Tuesday and also apologized for snatching the phone.

A Windsor judge would order Your browser does not support inline frames or is currently configured not to display inline frames. Spratt to avoid contacting Eminem and his ex-wife. Spratt was also put on a year's probation and fined $230.

“He apologized to the court.  He's hoping to move on with his life,” said Robert DiPietro, Spratt's lawyer.
