Singer Toni Braxton has been hospitalized in Las Vegas. Word is just in from a spokeswoman at the Flamingo Hotel-Casino that the singer has been hospitalized with an undisclosed illness, but it is not life-threatening.

Hotel spokeswoman Deanna Pettit said Braxton was taken to the hospital on Monday night. The spokeswoman said she expects Braxton will be released Tuesday afternoon.

The nature of Braxton's illness is unknown.

Braxton is performing at the Flamingo hotel. Pettit says Braxton didn't have a show Monday night and she expects Tuesday's show to be canceled.
