Former Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams is offering up an unexpected look for her new album "Unexpected." The singer recently released new promo photos showing her in pink high heels, black skinny pants and a new shoulder-length hair cut.

The trendy hair cut and edgy look are all part of Williams' promotion for her new album. The singer told People.com, "I figured I have to do unexpected things."

Her new look got approval from former band mates Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland. "They're excited; they've heard the album," Williams said.

Her first single, "We Break the Dawn" was co-written by Solange Knowles and is a club-ready beat that kids in clubs will be able to dance to.
