Hulk Hogan may be best known for his smack-down, but lately the tough guy has a softer side. Hogan has been spending a lot of time with new girlfriend Jennifer McDaniel and this week the pair could be seen enjoying the sun, sand and waves in Miami Beach.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea, met McDaniel around the first of the year. Hogan's wife, Linda Bollea, filed for divorce in November.

Hogan, 54, hasn't publicized his relationship with McDaniel, but the two have been spotted everywhere together. In addition to their ocean frolics in South Florida, both reportedly live in the Sunshine State, the pair went to New Orleans and Mardi Gras together and last week they were in Los Angeles filming a promo for NBC.

McDaniel is also expected to accompany Hogan to L.A. for the next few weeks while he films the new season of "American Gladiators."

Speaking about Hogan's new relationship, a source told People.com that McDaniel is "very sweet and nice and a very good influence on him. He's in a much better place."
