Randi Rhodes

Randi Rhodes, an Air America Radio host, was suspended Thursday after a vulgar tirade regarding Sen. Hillary Clinton and Geraldine Ferraro last month.

Rhodes used vulgar language at an event sponsored by KKGN, the Air America Radio affiliate in San Francisco, on March 22.

Rhodes called Ferraro the "David Duke of Drag" after referring to Ferraro's contrsoversial remarks about Barack Obama. She also said Ferraro was anti-Semitic, along with Ronald Reagan, Dick Cheney and Richard Nixon. Rhodes also called both Ferraro and Clinton "big f*#king whores".

Rhodes is an afternoon host for the Air America Radio network. “The Randi Rhodes Show” is normally broadcasted from 3 to 6 p.m. weekdays. Sam Seder, another Air America host, was scheduled to fill in for Rhodes on Thursday.

Rhodes' suspension is indefinite, according to Air America chairman Charlie Kireker.

The video of the tirade is contained within this press release and is  available on Finditt Video. It contains adult, vulgar language. Be advised.
