Diddy's Group Day26 Lands At No. 1

he past two weeks, Diddy has reigned supreme in the top position on the Billboard 200. Last week, it was Danity Kane, this week it's Day26.

With the help of "Making The Band," the mail group Day26 landed at no. 1 this week with their self-titled debuted, selling 190,200 copies. According to Billboard.com, no male group has debuted at no. 1 since D12 landed there in 2001 with Devil's Night. It was also the highest ranking debut album since Danity Kane's first album entered in at no. 1 in 2006.

While Danity Kane topped the charts last week, this week they slipped to no. 4 with their sophomore album, Welcome To The Dollhouse. It sold 88,700 copies, putting their two-week total just over 300,000.

Right behind DK is Rick Ross' sophomore release, Trilla, coming in at no. 6 with 51,340 sold in its third week.

Despie selling over 3 million digital downloads of his hit single "Low," Flo Rida can't translate the song's popularity into album sales. His debut, Mail On Sunday, comes in at no. 9 in its second week scanning 33,600 copies. His grand total is just 119,700.

Outside the top 10 is Gnarls Barkley's second album, Odd Couple, which climbed six sports to no. 12, selling 28,900 copies. Due in part, to a early release, they've yet to break 100,000 sales.

Snoop Dogg's Ego Trippin' dropped to no. 13 with 28,000 copies sold this week. The rapper's album has sold just 222,300.

And the last R&B or hip-hop release within the top 20 is Alicia Keys' As I Am. It fell to no. 17, pushing 23,000 this week.

According to Billboard.com, album sales this week are down 12.7% compared to last week at 7.71 million and down 15.6% against the same week in 2007.
