Sean Levert

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause of death of musician Sean Levert, former singer for the music group LeVert and son of legendary O’Jays lead sinfer Eddie Levert.

Sean Levert was rushed from a prison in Cleveland, OH to Lutheran Hospital where he was declared dead. Levert was 39.

The singer had been sentenced to serve jail time for failure to pay child support.

Sean Levert, along with his brother Gerald and Marc Gordon formed the group Levert and the trio scored a hit with “Pop, Pop, Pop, Pop (Goes My Mind)”, and then followed with their biggest hit “Casanova” in 1987.
