British singer Joss Stone is to take a break from her music career after landing her first major movie role playing a lesbian holiday park entertainer.
The 20-year-old’s first foray into acting was in 2006 when she was cast as a witch in fantasy epic Eragon.
But Stone has now been given the chance to take on a more high profile role in quirky British comedy Snappers, which will see her character indulge in a "long, lingering French kiss" with a woman.
And the star is convinced her new project may shock some of her fans. She says, "There are things that are going to really push the boundaries and that excites me!"
