Fergie is planning a very special Mother’s Day gift for her mom, Terri - she’s retiring her.

The pop star hopes to give her mom a life of luxury as a gift when America celebrates Mother’s Day in May (08).

She says, "I’m actually retiring my mom this year, so next year she doesn’t have to go to work. I wanted to give back because she took me to all those auditions for all of those years. It’s the least I could do."
