Justin Timberlake will host the 2008 ESPY Awards on July 20, ESPN announced Wednesday.

Timberlake, the Emmy and Grammy-award winning singer, will host the ESPYs at the new Nokia Theatre L.A. Live, a 7,100-seat venue located across the street from the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.

The ESPYs, ESPN's awards commemorating sports figures and athletes, moved to the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live from the Kodak Theatre, where the ESPY Awards had taken place for the past six years.

Last year, the ESPYs were hosted by LeBron James and Jimmy Kimmel.
