Nashville, TN. (Top40 Charts/ Moraine Music Group) - Nashville-based Moraine Music Group announced today that Scottish-born singer/songwriter, Johnny Reid, has struck gold (50,000 units) in Canada with his newly released CD, 'Kicking Stones.'
The album, produced by Grammy award-winner, Brent Maher, has also been nominated for a Juno Award for '2007 Country Recording of the Year.' The Juno Awards be broadcast live from Calgary , Canada on CTV Sunday, April 6, 2008.

Winner of the CCMA's 2006 Rising Star of the Year and 2007 Independent Male Artist of the Year awards, Reid has had a string of chart-topping singles and videos in Canada including 'Darlin',' 'Love Sweet Love,' 'Kicking Stones,' and the current single, 'Thank You.'
