Billy Joel and his wife Katie Lee Joel appeared on Monday's episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show".

The Joels gave Oprah's audience a behind-the-scenes look at their New York City home.

Billy played a song for the television audience, while Katie Lee shared a few recipes from her new book, "The Comfort Table," which will hit bookstores in May.

Katie Lee was featured in Bravo's "Top Chef," and held a special correspondent position for Extra and a seat on the judges' panel of "Iron Chef America." Katie Lee also had a column in Hampton's Magazine.

In addition to Katie Lee's success, Billy's daughter Alexa Ray Joel is becoming a budding musician herself. She is Joel's daughter with his second wife, Christie Brinkley.
