Julianne Hough has been around plenty of celebrities at this point in her career. In "Dancing With The Stars," she was partnered with Apolo Ohno and is currently working with Adam Corolla. And after releasing her own country single, "That Song In My Head," she’s getting ready to hit the road this summer on Brad Paisley’s tour.
Still, as familiar as she is with stars, Julianne was completely out of sorts when she got the chance recently to meet George Strait during a party held by her record company.
"I was really excited when I met him," she says, "but at the same time, I was like, ‘I need to leave because I don’t want to look stupid or say something.’ And my hands are shaking, and I don’t know what to say, and I just look really stupid. But no, he was so awesome, and he told me that he was watching the show and that he had been voting and stuff, so it’s kind of cool that George Strait watches me dance."
Julianne’s debut album will be released in May. George’s next album, Troubadour, reaches stores April 1.
