Charlize Theron says she is ready to have a baby. The actress admitted that she has been thinking about starting a family with long time boyfriend Stuart Townsend.

“I’ve been thinking about becoming a mom for a couple of years now. My biological clock it ticking, but it hasn’t gone off yet,” Theron tells In Touch Weekly magazine. “I couldn’t hope for my career to be going any better, and I have found the great love of my life in my relationship.”

“I think we’re ready to start having kids running around the house. I’m ready to take on the responsibility of motherhood, and Stuart is the man I want to share parenthood with,” she added.

It seems that having a baby is the new trend in Hollywood. Jennifer Lopez recently gave birth to twins while Halle Berry, Nicole Richie and Christina Aguilera welcomed their first children. Jessica Alba, Nicole Kidman and Angelina Jolie are also pregnant.
