The Girls Gone Wild footage featuring Ashley Dupre has been delayed while the entertainment company scrambles to verify the Eliot Spitzer call-girl’s age at the time of filming. Lawyers for Dupre sent an e-mail to Joe Francis, founder of the GGW franchise, and notified him that footage shot in Miami in 2003 may have contained images of Dupre when she was 17-years-old. Francis had initially offered Dupre $1 million to do a series of GGW videos but it was then discovered that the now 22-year-old Dupre had actually already been filmed five years earlier. Don Buchwald, the lawyer representing Dupre, wrote in his email that Francis knew the girl was underage at the time of the filming. Because of this Francis has elected to halt the distribution of the Dupree videos until they are able to verify her age.
