Two fired Texas police officers, accused of holding country singer Steve Holy at gunpoint, have been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Randy Anderson, 26, and Paul Loughridge, 48, were indicted on Monday. Anderson was also charged with kidnapping. The two off-duty cops met Holy and a friend in a Dallas bar on 27 December (08) before the group returned to the star’s home. There, they allegedly forced Holy to the ground, pointed a gun at his head and threatened to kill him during a heated argument over whether he was a professional or not. Police officials fired Anderson and Loughridge in January (08). Loughridge believes he will be found not guilty of the aggravated assault charge leveled against him. He says, "I’ve had faith all along in the criminal justice system, and that faith continues."
