Paula Abdul has a "Freudian" crush on Simon Cowell. The multi-platinum selling artist admits she has a secret crush on her fellow American Idol judge in a "really weird way."

The 44-year-old singer/dancer/actress although she often finds his comments too cruel, says she has a subconscious attraction to Cowell.

She says, "Just when you think we're all getting on, Simon turns and we get back into our little quarrels. I suppose it's quite funny to watch, but he's so infuriating."

"May {I fancy Cowell}. Subconsciously. In a really weird, Freudian way. We have a good work balance. We've all had moments where we've walked off because of Simon, but he's even walked off because of himself."

Abdul and Simon, together with Randy Jackson, are currently judging aspiring singers in the seventh season of American Idol.
