Michael Jackson

The King of Pop is cooking up what one TV pundit calls "the biggest comeback since Lazarus," the Observer reports. After years of legal and financial woes and self-imposed exile, the Gloved One is forging new material and planning a possible concert tour, reportedly collaborating with pop culture icons like Will.i.am and American Idol creator Simon Fuller. After a string of highly-publicized troubles, including child molestation charges and the near-loss of Neverland Ranch, Jackson’s popularity is on the upswing—partly due to an extensive interview in Ebony last year. High-profile fans like Akon believe Jackson still has what it takes: “Some artists think regional, some think national, I was thinking international. He thinks planets. It's on another level.”
