Barbara Walters grilled Kim Kardashian on Thursday on ABC's show 'The View'. Kardashian appeared on the show with her stepfather and former Olympic star, Bruce Jenner.

It seemed like everything was moving along smoothly until Barbara asked Kim, "Why are you famous? What have you done? What do you do with your life?"

Kim muttered something about hanging out with famous friends to which Barbara replied "Paris Hilton." She then went on to tell Walters that she was a stylist and into fashion and that she owns two clothing boutiques in Los Angeles.

The interview took another interesting turn when Walters brought up Kim's infamous sex tape. Jenner tried to cover and take over the conversation unsuccessfully. Kim then tried to make a comeback by saying that she has learned from her mistakes.

To top it off, Walters then went into a discussion about how Kim's deceased father was heavily involved with O.J. Simpson's murder trial and the book he wrote about being a part of Simpson's legal dream team.

Yikes. Talk about putting Kim on the spot. But it's a question that most of us who have seen the reality show 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' have asked ourselves on more than one occasion.
