Duffy Shows No Mercy With Double Chart Success

Welsh singer Duffy’s U.K. chart dominance continues - her album and single remain at number one.

The soul newcomer’s hit Mercy has reigned at the top of the charts for four weeks, while her LP Rockferry has bagged the number one spot on the album chart for the second week running.

Leona Lewis took second place with her second U.K. single release Better In Time/Footprints In The Sand, with H Two O featuring Platinum’s What’s It Gonna Be falling to third place.

OneRepublic’s Stop and Stare is at four, with Nickelback remaining in the charts at number five with Rockstar.

Meanwhile, in the album charts, OneRepublic’s Dreaming Out Loud entered the chart at number two, with Nickleback holding on to third place with All The Right Reasons.

Leona Lewis’s Spirit came back into the top five at four, with Amy Winehouse’s Back To Black falling to fifth.
