Big & Rich Record Label Closes

Country duo Big & Rich’s record label has closed after a string of disappointing sales. Kenny Alphin and John Rich and Warner Brothers executives agreed to shut down offshoot Raybaw Records. Despite scoring a hit with Cowboy Troy’s debut album, Loco Motion, subsequent releases failed to take off. Cowboy Troy will become part of Warner Brothers’ label, according to Billboard magazine.
