*For the first time in his career, Cedric the Entertainer is behind the camera calling all the shots for a film project. The actor is the director, co-executive producer and star of the upcoming indie flick, "Chicago Pulaski Jones."

      The movie centers on a young championship dancer, Pulaski Jones, who heads to the big city for his shot at superstardom. On the day he arrives, his uncle is murdered, leaving Jones to avenge his uncle's death vigilante style and alone.

       The film also stars Tommy Davidson, Gary Sturgis and the film's co-writer and co-producer, Kel Mitchell.      

       Ced, currently starring opposite Martin Lawrence in the film "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins," began production on "Chicago Pulaski Jones" Tuesday in Los Angeles.
