Lose My Breath
Apparently all the feedback Janet Jackson has been getting for having the number #1 album in the country, Discipline, became so contagious it's made her sick-literally.
E! News reported that, the R&B legend checked into Cedars Sinai Medical Center with a virus late Monday night. By the time word hit the net, rumors flew that Damita Jo was suffering from shortness of breath. However, Ms. Jackson's reps were quick to blame the incident on that "flu" that's been going around.
"Janet did go to the hospital last night due to the fact she's been suffering from this flu that's kicked a lot of people's behinds," publicist Patti Webster told The Associated Press in an e-mail. "She was never admitted and she is fine."
JJ's reps also broke the news that she would be dropping out from her scheduled appearance on "Saturday Night Live" on March 15th.

Mr. Big Stuff
Ray J popped up on Tyra Bank's couch and the supermodel turned talk show diva just wouldn't give him a break about his now infamous sex tape with socialite Kim Kardashian.
All up in the "One Wish" singer's business, Tyra tried to get to the bottom of how the tape leaked. The conversation soon turned to whether Ray J had developed a huge following for his "big personality." Tyra's endless prodding and enormous obsession with Ray J's manhood mostly resulted in her looking like a size queen. [Watch Video Here]

The Real Thing
Grammy Award winning songstress Jill Scott has found a new stage to showcase her beautifully human personality. Jilly from Philly is set to star in a new HBO series, "The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency". The cable network recently picked up the Anthony Minghella directed production after seeing the two-hour pilot featuring Jill as the owner of a small detective agency in Botswana. Dreamgirls actress Anika Noni Rose will co-star. The series is based on Alexander McCall Smith's detective novels.

Masked gunmen broke into Polow Da Don's Atlanta studio on Monday night (March 10) and they weren't jackin' for beats. Allegedly the gunmen robbed the super producer and friends at gunpoint. Polow came out of the situation just fine and released the following statement in response:
"They thought they came to rob me, but I have heart and I have God shawty ...These crack head ass n*ggaz I guess called themselves robbing me, but we robbed them. I wasn't scared I was mad," Polow said via his Blackberry. "I was likes 'these dumb ass, weak ass n*ggas.' n*ggas don't get it. You gone have to shoot me because until then, I don't believe you. I am a man and nine times out of 10, a n*gga calling himself a robba, a thug or a gangsta is a cover up for being too weak (whether it be physically, spiritually or mentally) to be a man. It's hard to learn how to be a man. Luckily, my teacher stuck with me ... Thanks Dad, I love you! Kids, do you know where your father is right now?"
The Zone 4 mogul wouldn't let the incident tarnish his most recent musical buzz, Usher's "Love in This Club" featuring Young Jeezy made the third largest leap to #1 in history on Billboard's Hot 100.
"Don't let this negativity overshadow the celebration of having the No. 1 song in the country," Polow added.
Rebel Talking... After signing a rapper named Rich Boy and producing "Glamorous Life" it's almost to be expected.
