The legendary rock group, The Police is scheduled to hold a concert in the grounds of Stormont this summer.
The group who reformed last year, gave their fans a treat when they staged a reunion tour all over the world. This concert is being promoted as their last ever gig in Ireland.
According to the First Minister, Ian Paisley, this event is a "fantastic coup" for Northern Ireland. "An event of this magnitude has a sizable benefit for the economy, not least our tourism industry," he said.
Tickets for the June 20 concert will be available soon and could cost up to $140.
The Police - bassist/lead vocalist Sting, guitarist Andy Summers, and drummer Stewart Copeland will return to Europe to hold concerts at prestigious festivals this summer including Isle of White, Hyde Park, Rock in Rio in Spain and the TW Festival in Belgium.
While touring the band also picked up a number of awards including Major Tour of the Year and top selling tour of 2007 in Billboard Magazine.
