Ludacris and Nelly will be among various rappers and celebrities who will manage Mixed Martial Arts fighters for BET's newest show titled Iron Ring.
According to The New Post, Iron Ring will premiere on March 18th and the fighters, who will be predominately black and hispanic, will slug it out for a $100,000 prize.
Other stars involved in the show include Lil Jon and boxing champion Floyd Mayweather.
Iron Ring will be produced by Campbell McLaren and David Isaac. The duo founded Ultimate Fighting Championship(UFC) which appears on Spike TV.
“The other MMA shows don't have the same celebrity involvement like we do,” said BET programming chief Reggie Hudlin. “We have the celebrity owners, the legends as trainers and the fact that we give all these young fighters who normally who would not have a shot - there are so few people of color represented on the others.”
