*Beyonce Knowles and Idris Elba will play husband and wife in the upcoming motion picture "Obsessed," a thriller for Screen Gems that will begin shooting this summer.

      Elba will play an asset manager who has a knockout wife (Knowles) and thriving career until a temp office worker played by Ali Larter (NBC's "Heroes") begins stalking him. Screen Gems head Clint Culpepper is currently finalizing cast deals, according to Variety.     

       Knowles is also an executive producer on the project with her father/manager, Mathew Knowles. The pair also teamed to executive produce Sony BMG's "Cadillac Records," which co-stars Beyonce as R&B singer Etta James.      

       Beyonce is coming off of her starring role in "Dreamgirls," while Elba last appeared in "American Gangster" and will next be seen in "Prom Night," also for Screen Gems.
