The Fugees star Pras Michel is moving into movies - the rapper plans to star in an upcoming film based on the comic book series DARK OZ.

The Ready Or Not hitmaker has optioned the film and TV rights to the comic, which follows an older version of The Wizard Of Oz character Dorothy Gale as she travels through a gothic and more macabre Oz.

Michel is planning to star as the Scarecrow when the live action movie, based on the work of original comic creators Aaron Denenberg, Ralph Griffith and Stuart Kerr, goes into production at the end of the year (08), reports Daily Variety.
