Sugarland

Sugarland is looking forward to its first tour of Australia, a three-date jaunt that has them arriving Down Under in less than two weeks. The flight is a major commitment in time, and once they arrive, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush hope to take advantage of their visit to the continent.

"They obviously have a wonderful wine country in both Australia and New Zealand," Jennifer says. "That'd be fun to do. And there's Byron Bay, and there's surfing there."

That idea is particularly appealing to Kristian.

"I want to go to surf camp real bad," he says.

They give their first Aussie show at the West Coast Blues N Roots Festival in Fremantle March 16. They'll follow that with performances in Northcote March 18 and in Sydney March 19.

Brooks & Dunn just kicked off their first Australian tour Friday night with a show in Brisbane. They'll remain in Australia until next week.
