Latin singer Enrique Iglesias plans to quit the music industry before he turns 50. The Hero star, 32, believes his brand of energetic pop music is not suited to a man of middle age, so, unlike his famous father Julio, 64, Enrique will call an end to his career as he approaches the half-century mark. He says, "I’m not sure I want to be up on a stage when I’m 64 or 65. In my father’s case, I think he’s going to die onstage and I respect that very much. "In my case, in 15 years I’ll probably look ridiculous singing Bailamos (Let’s Dance)." However, Iglesias concedes his mind may change over the course of time. He adds, "I want to retire in the next 15 years. But that’s what I say now. Who knows if I’ll have the courage to do it when the day comes."
