*Charles Barkley is staying put at his TNT job as a co-host of "Inside the NBA," telling Playboy in a recent interview that he'd be "a damn fool" to leave the gig.

      Turner Sports announced Wednesday that it has extended its deal with the former basketball star, who has worked as a studio analyst at TNT for the past eight seasons.

       The colorful commentator will continue to provide his unique insight during TNT's Thursday night match ups, as well as on NBA TV and NBA.com's NBA OverTime.      

       Financial terms of Barkley's re-up were not disclosed.
