While Sesame Street has always maintained a low crime rate a recent story out of Florida may indicate that at least one of the residents on the popular road may find himself staring at premeditated murder charges if he carries through with his plans.

The kid favorite character Elmo has been overheard issuing threats to one child in Lithia, Florida since the child’s parents recharged the batteries on the toy. The Elmo Knows Your Name” doll has been heard saying “Kill James” to two-year-old James Bowman.

Fisher-Price, the manufacturer of the Elmo Knows Your Name doll, has said they would replace the threatening toy with a voucher for a new Elmo.
