When Faith Hill made her big-screen debut in the 2004 movie "The Stepford Wives," it had the potential to launch a second career for her as a film star.
See Also:Faith has not made another movie, but it's not like she hasn't had chances. In fact, she was given a shot to take one of the roles in Crash, which ultimately won an Oscar award for Best Picture. But she turned it down because she felt her family obligations wouldn't allow it. "That was tough," Faith told Dial-Global, in discussing Crash. "That was a really great movie. Our family comes first, and if [husband] Tim [McGraw] is in the middle of something, then I try not to be in the middle of something so much that you have to really dedicate and focus your time on. We share, so when I'm in the middle of doing something, he's not doing anything but being [both] Mommy and Daddy. So we try to make it work that way, and a lot of times that means not taking things." At this point, Tim has actually taken more film roles than Faith. He's appeared in Black Cloud, Friday Night Lights, Flicka and The Kingdom. He's also expected to finish shooting Four Christmases this month. The picture, which also features Vince Vaughn and Dwight Yoakam, will be released later this year.
