If you've got an extra 6,000 bucks lying around, Guitar Center might have come up with a place for you to drop the bills. The musical instrument mecca has released plans to create limited edition Roland MV8800 drum machines that have been co-designed by RZA and Bruce Forat, an engineer behind the likes of Prince, Dr. Dre and Jermaine Dupree. Each of the eight custom MV8800s will be made with unique Wu-Tang artwork and will go on sale at 10 p.m. on February 28 at Guitar Center's Hollywood location for walk-in customers only. And even though these pretty machines go for about $4,000 over the MV8800's usual sticker price, the extra money may be well worth it for some. The eight new owners will be invited to a private tutorial held by RZA himself, where he will explain the ins and outs of their new purchases. How to make good beats, on the other hand, might be a little more difficult.
