ENTERPRISE, AL. (Top40 Charts/ Music City News Media & Marketing) - Apropos to the Alabama State motto, 'Where America Finds Its Voice,' Enterprise, Alabama will host the first annual BamaJam Music & Arts Festival scheduled to take place, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, June 5 - 7, 2008 at Boy Scout Road and Highway No 167. An all-encompassing community and creative arts experience, the 2-day/3-night extravaganza will cater to music enthusiasts with a taste for something a la Bama different. Presenting 30 award winning acts from Country, Classic Rock, Alternative and Bluegrass, BamaJam will sprawl across 450 acres of breathtaking, rolling countryside transforming a field of green into a community entertainment and recreation center dedicated to offer the festivalgoer an experience of a lifetime.

With a variety of on-site activities and entertainment hubs, BamaJam Music & Arts Festival will be a whole lotta fun for everyone. Situated in Bama Village (BamaJam's all-inclusive outdoor community plaza), will be Bama Market, Bama Music Lounge, Bama Media Lounge, BamaJam Sponsors Plaza, Bama-a-Rama Kids Zone, and BamaJam Park. (Folks can sleep under the stars and/or RV's are welcome.) The sounds of music will surround Bama Village where world-class artists will perform on the three separate BamaJam stages.

'Establishing an entertainment mecca such as BamaJam for our entire community and friends from neighboring states to enjoy has been a life long dream,' said Ronnie Gilley, owner of Ronnie Gilley Properties and Ronnie Gilley Entertainment. 'BamaJam is a music and arts festival created to celebrate the human spirit and the spirit of music.'

Country Music Hall of Famer and Alabama native son, Randy Owen, is the fitting opening to BamaJam as this former member of the super group, Alabama, kicks off the festival on Thursday night, June 5, 2008 with Little Big Town ('Boondocks') and Darryl Worley ('Have You Forgotten'').

"This will be my first time performing in Enterprise,' said Owen. 'I am really excited and honored to be kicking off BamaJam and I hope this festival will bring a lot of positive feelings and energy to a community that has been through so much."

The 35-year young, original American blues rock band, ZZ-Top, who made "Tush" the most familiar word in all musical languages, will strut their stuff on Friday, June 6. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers (nearly as well-known for their music as sporting "Cheap Sunglasses") are scheduled to appear on the main stage.

It wouldn't be 'Sweet Home Alabama' without the good ole boys that made southern rock famous. The Rowdy Frynds Tour (one of the most successful tours in 2007) returns in 2008 to BamaJam! Hank Williams, Jr. and Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform on Saturday, June 7, 2008. Serving up true southern hospitality, Hank, Jr. (five-time CMA/ACM Entertainer of the Year and four-time Emmy award winner) and Lynyrd Skynyrd (2006 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees) will turn up the heat in the grand finale.

Two-time Grammy nominee and platinum recording artist Miranda Lambert will add some fuel to the fire at BamaJam. Her debut album, KEROSENE, burned up the charts in 2005 paving the way for the small-town Texan to country superstardom. Lambert's sophomore record, CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND, debuted at No. 1 on the Nielsen SoundScan Country chart (May 2007) and is a unanimous critics choice. Miranda is currently headlining her own tour. She will perform on the main stage on Saturday, June 7.

Throughout the weekend, BamaJammers can enjoy performances from a number of Bluegrass and Alternative acts including 12-time Grammy winner, Ricky Skaggs, Bluegrass great, Del McCoury, the legendary Ralph Stanley and the singing voice of George Clooney/'O Brother Where Art Thou,' Dan Tyminski. Nanci Griffith, the Grammy award winning international 'Voice' of Americana and Folk, will be a very special highlight of the event-appearing on the Americana Stage Friday evening. More acts and special surprises are being added daily.

BamaJam is a Ronnie Gilley Entertainment Production. A portion of the proceeds from BamaJam will be donated to The Harlon Gilley Small Man Foundation, Inc. and The Jimmy Bowden Foundation, Inc.'501 (c) 3 public benefit corporations created by Ronnie Gilley to assist in enhancing and improving the lives of the people and community of Coffee County and the surrounding area.

"It's a known fact that music brings people together," Gilley adds. "Now, more than ever, is the time for all of us to come together, share in the spirit of the music and what the word 'community' really means and in turn give back to our friends and our neighbors who are less fortunate. These two organizations have been established to do just that, to 'give' back to our community-the place we call home."
Tickets to BamaJam can be purchased online at www.bamajammusicfestival.com or by calling BamaJam headquarters at (877) 4BAMAJAM.
