Missy Elliott is asking her fans to help her come up with a name for her new album, which is due out this Spring. Contestants can enter the contest by going to www.missy-elliott.com and submitting a title before February 20. On March 2, a name will be selected and the winner will receive a credit on the album cover as well as a $500 adidas “Respect Me” git card. In related news, Missy debuted the 3-D video for her new tracks “Ching-A-Ling” and “Shake Your Pom Pom” yesterday (February 4) on MTV’s TRL and BET’s 106th & Park. Directed by Dave Meyers, the clip features special 3-D effects viewable only with special glasses available at FYE music stores and adidas retail locations. Both songs will appear on Missy’s new album, as well as the soundtrack to the upcoming film Step Up 2 The Streets, which hits stores today.
