Veteran singer Van Morrison has been forced to postpone two concerts in Spain after contracting a chest infection.

The Brown Eyed Girl hitmaker was scheduled to play two dates at the Auditori i Palau de Congressos in Castellon on Thursday and Friday but pulled out at the last minute.

Concert organizers confirmed the Irish singer/songwriter has been diagnosed with a serious chest and throat infection and warned he might axe other dates on his current European tour.
