An Australian music festival ended in chaos on Monday night when fans of Rage Against The Machine turned violent in their bid to get to the front of the stage.
Melbourne’s Big Day Out event was marred by the crowd unrest, which saw one man knocked unconscious and another fall from a marquee at Flemington racecourse as the 45,000-strong audience pushed forward to see the Guerrilla Radio rockers in the finale.
Rage Against The Machine were later rushed off the stage by show organizers, who threatened to cut short the band’s set altogether unless fans stopped the violence.
The condition of the two casualties was unknown as WENN went to press.

There was no violence! The promoters just told some people to get down off the roof of the beer tent! Other than that he said we were all well behaved.
